Always Say Prayer
God desires best for you , He wants you to be successful in your life . He is ready to help you all the time . But there are many things which try to hold us back.
“Don’t allow these things to control your life if you want to go ahead in your life .”
1) Past :–
let go of your past and move on in your life , don’t look back , look forward . Because in the past you might have been a Victim but now in the present because of Jesus Christ our king you are Victor and more than a conqueror.
2 Corinthians 5:17 – ” Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!.
Philippians 3:14 – ” press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
2) Wearing Mask :-
Don’t try to Please people and live a life under pressure trying to fit in the crowd. Don’t wear the mask and be someone else , be original because you are made in the image of God .
Psalms 139:14 – ” I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
King David tried to wear the armour of King Saul but couldn’t even walk , he gave it up and got comfortable with his own sling and stones and stick and hence He was able to defeat Goliath . You are created by God and you are unique, wonderful, useful .
3) Low self esteem:-
Probably growing up people would have made fun of your height , body, weight , colour, status , intellect and it would have impacted your life in a negative manner . So you hate yourself and feel you are not good , you are incapable, ugly etc.
Greatest enemy is not outside , because he is defeated by God , but the enemy within which are your thoughts and you have to take captive them captive.
1 Samuel 16:7 – ‘ For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
Song of Solomon 4:7 – How beautiful you are, my love; how perfect you are!
This verse is compared with God assuring his people that they are beautiful and perfect and He loves them . Know your identity in Christ, that you are a child of God , you are righteous, you are holy, you are successful.
4) Jealousy and Hatred :-
Jealousy and Hatred are not the nature of God . 1 Corinthians 13 talks about True love ” Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-5.
The first murder was result of Jealousy, Cain killed his brother Abel . Jealousy is to have what someone else has. Many times jealousy results in needs that are not met , insecurity, comparison.
Stop constantly comparing yourself to others . What God has given you is the best .
5) Fear :-
Fear is one of the strongest motivators. It can push us into wrong actions or freeze us into inaction and keeps us away from taking risk and going forward.
God gave children of Israel promise land , but because of the fear of giants they were not able to enter the promise land and died in the wilderness.
Fear keeps you away from achieving your goals , dreams and desires .
God says hundreds of times in hundreds of ways “Fear not.”
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
“For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?’” (Hebrews 13:5-6).
2 Timothy 1:7 -” For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
So be free today from these things that are holding you back with the help of God and His word reach your final destination.
