Acts 1:8- ‘ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth’. God has given you the power of the Holy Spirit to be a Witness for God. Who is a Witness? A Witness then is someone who tells what he knows which he has personally experienced. A witness is a person who tells the truth about Jesus Christ. The disciples testified to the things they knew to be true about Jesus Christ. Above all they testified the Truth of the Resurrection of Jesus. But Becoming a True Witness is not easy because the enemy will try his best to oppose, resist and stop you. As Apostles received power they immediately started to witness about Christ. But soon they were threatened by religious leaders to stop.
